The scent takes the stage: a sensory journey for Teatro Nazionale di Genova.

The partnership with Teatro Nazionale di Genova continues for the creation and diffusion of the olfactory logo “Ivo” for the 2025/2026 season, following the great success achieved last year.
The initiative aims to enrich the audience’s sensory experience through the diffusion of a bespoke fragrance created specifically for the theatre’s spaces. This project reflects the innovative vision of Teatro Nazionale di Genova, always committed to offering its spectators experiences where art, emotion, and creativity merge into a unique and engaging dimension.
Thanks to the advanced remote-controlled technology developed by Integra Fragrances, spectators are welcomed by “Ivo”, a scent designed to enhance the theatre’s atmosphere.
Created in collaboration with Malva Moncalvo, founder of the brand and collection Malva 1979, the fragrance has been conceived to blend harmoniously with the renewed Teatro Ivo Chiesa. Its composition combines the delicate, powdery nuances of violet with the mysterious depth of castoreum and a dark leathery base, creating a captivating interplay of contrasts.
With the opening performance on October 11, 2025, the main areas of the theatre, including the foyer, will once again be enveloped in this olfactory creation, creating an immersive, multisensory experience destined to leave guests with an indelible memory of their evenings at the theatre.
