Reggia di Caserta: exploring Queens’ lives through scent.

Integra Fragrances presents a unique olfactory project for the exhibition “Regine: weavings of culture and diplomacy between Naples and Europe”, open at the Reggia di Caserta (Royal Palace of Caserta) until April 20, 2026.
Within the exhibition halls, visitors can enjoy a multisensory experience thanks to a bespoke olfactory identity that pays tribute to Carolina Bonaparte Murat, a woman of great charm, passion, and influence.
Drawing inspiration from the intense and complex life of the queen, Integra Fragrances crafted “Reine d’Éclat”, a luminous and characterful fragrance that tells, through the sense of smell, the story and intimate life of Carolina Bonaparte Murat. The fragrance opens with the bright and sparkling freshness of citrus, representing the determination and ambition of the Queen of Naples. Its heart notes – floral, enveloping, and subtly herbaceous – of lavender, sage, and iris evoke the queen’s private passions: above all, art, culture, and fashion. The base, with amber and musky facets combined with the austere strength of cedarwood, conveys the queen’s tenacious personality, fully aware of her power and political and social impact, while embracing her important role as a wife and mother.
